Christian Jonszies

*1977 in Siegen / Germany

Christian Jonszies made his first musical attempts in his early childhood - in preschool he took xylophone lessons and later he played recorder at school.
At the age of 12 he was influenced by bands like Scorpions, Skid Row, Metallica and thereupon he decided to take guitar lessons.
Between 1991 and 1995 he acted as guitarist in the local youth band "Answere" and gained first experiences on stage in front of a larger audience.

After dissolution of the band experiments followed in different music styles influenced by rock, metal, jazz, classic and trance.
For years he developed uncommon songs with synthesizers and electric guitars.

In his late thirties, Christian Jonszies learned to play the violin - not masterful, but he integrates it with increasing enthusiasm in various genres.

"My musical style is a reflection of my personality and all my songs were created to depict specific themes that I pulled from my own life experiences."

Since 2007, he is used to contribute more and more classical instruments in his songs and this way he creates an unusual style mix, which makes it worth listening.

With this decision in 2007 the project "Symphonic Gate" was born from which gradually more and more interesting styles arise.
